I joined Motown a little more than a year ago - right after moving to the area and right before COVID. In that time, Motown has been the difference in my health. My job in Pharma went fully work-from-home soon after the move - which was great in most aspects except the sitting at a desk all day sedentary lifestyle. Motown was the only constant in that time, from outdoor workouts to Zoom workouts to responsible and safe in-person workouts to various wellness seminars, each aligned to the evolving situation and each providing its members tons of options. Now as we move towards normalcy, I continue to start each morning at Motown and feel like I am in the best shape of my life. Along the way, I've met some amazing coaches and a welcoming community. Motown has become so much more than just where I go to workout. It’s where I go to be present with myself and work on my physical and mental health. The coaches are incredibly encouraging and always meet you where you’re at. Not only that, but the people- oh the people make Motown what it is.
